Event Summary
This second online training session will introduce the NECCTON project and its innovative outcomes from marine ecosystem modelling.
Through a series of expert presentations and a live demonstration, participants will explore how NECCTON products can support concrete applications for marine ecosystem monitoring and management, from monitoring marine protected areas and marine mammals to assessing fisheries potential and anticipating the impacts of climate change on large pelagic fish.
The session will also include a live demonstration of the NECCTON Ocean Viewer, showing how users can explore, visualise and access the project’s marine ecosystem products.
Designed for both current and prospective users of marine ecosystem and biogeochemical data, this session provides practical insights, supporting materials and direct interaction with experts to help turn ocean data into actionable knowledge.
