Event Summary
This first online training session, happening on 28th April 2026, will introduce the NECCTON project and its innovative outcomes from marine ecosystem modelling, which are expected to be integrated into the Copernicus Marine Service catalogue in the coming years.
Through a series of expert presentations and live demonstrations, participants will explore how NECCTON supports the monitoring of marine ecosystems - from plankton dynamics to climate-informed MPA planning across European seas.
The workshop will also include a hands-on demonstration of the NECCTON Ocean Viewer, showing how to easily access, visualize, and download these products with ease.
Designed for both current and prospective users of biogeochemical data, this session will provide practical insights, supporting materials, and opportunities for direct interaction with experts to help turn ocean data into actionable knowledge.
