About the Call for Tender

This call aims to strengthen Copernicus Marine uptake at national and coastal scale by supporting coastal demonstrator services, national user engagement activities, capacity development, EU policy implementation, and wider exploitation of the EDITO platform. The call is structured around two LOTs:

LOT 1 - Coastal Demonstrators

Future selected contractors will develop or upgrade two coastal demonstrator services using Copernicus Marine products. The services shall address nationally relevant coastal challenges, cover two distinct ocean basins and two distinct national EEZ jurisdictions, demonstrate added value for users and policy implementation, and include EDITO onboarding component, either datasets or an application.

LOT 2 - Capacity Development through National User Events

Future selected contractors will design and deliver two national Copernicus Marine user engagement events. These events shall promote uptake of Copernicus Marine data,  include demonstrations and practical activities where relevant, collect structured user feedback, and generate recommendations to strengthen national user engagement.

About the Copernicus Marine National Collaboration Programme

Under its second phase the Copernicus Marine Service seeks to enhance its interaction and cooperation with core users at the national level to better support marine policy and governance stakeholders in EU Member States and EU Contributing States. This focus takes shape through the National Collaboration Programme that fosters a collaborative environment to facilitate the uptake of Copernicus Marine data and products in user-focused services and applications supporting healthy ocean and sustainable blue economy.
