From Altona train station - ≈15 min
Take the S-Bahn (city train) line S1, direction Poppenbüttel, or S3, direction Neugraben, and get off at Landungs-brücken. Continue as described Under “On foot from the Landungsbrücken”.
From Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) - ≈15 min
S-Bahn line S1, direction Wedel or Blankenese, or line S3, direction Pinneberg, get off at Landungsbrücken. Continue as described under “On foot from the Landungsbrücken”.
From Hamburg Airport (Helmut Schmidt Airport) - ≈ 40 min
Take the S-Bahn S1, direction Wedel or Blankenese, get off at Landungsbrücken. Continue as described under “On foot from the Landungsbrücken”
On foot from the Landungsbrücken - ≈ 8 min
On leaving the station, do not cross the footbridge leading to the ferries but walk down the stairs to the right, cross the street Helgoländer Allee, then walk up the stairs leading to the Hotel Hafen Hamburg. Continue to the left, then cross the parking lot, go through the passage to the entrance of the BSH.
🏢 BSH building accessibility
The BSH building has barrier-free parking spaces. Please contact the receiption for using this. The BSH has a ramp in the entrance area. This allows barrier-free access. Elevators and mostly also automatic doors are available throughout the building.
ℹ️ Reception
When entering the BSH, please report to the reception in the entrance area. You will be directed from there. As a visitor of the BSH, you will receive a guest pass upon presentation of your ID card.
